The work delves into the "tension between individuality and relationship, between selfhood and family, between freedom and claustrophobia, between private and public." The Works Corps are Lilian Gail, Emily Stone, Tiffany Lee Brown, Nora Robertson and Clare Carpenter. Last spring the Work Corps came together to participate in a six-week performance series sponsored by 2GQ/2Gyrlz at the Someday Lounge called "Public Works." In this same spirit of collaboration, the Work Corps reunited under the leadership of Lilian Gail to begin creating "House Bound" and won a grant from Performance Works NW for the use of their facilities as part of the organization's new series, Alembic.
