Urban Craft Uprising Winter Show

Urban Craft Uprising is Seattle’s largest indie craft show! At UCU, now in its thirteenth year, fans can choose from a wide variety of hand-crafted goods, including clothing of all types, jewelry, gifts, bags, wallets, buttons, accessories, aprons, children’s goods, toys, housewares, furniture, paper goods, candles, kits, geekery, art, food, and much, much more.

Each show is carefully curated and juried to ensure the best mix of crafts and arts, along with quality and originality. This bi-annual show features over 150 vendors excelling in the world of craft, art and design. 

Hundreds of fans are lined up before our doors open to receive our famous swag bags full of goodies from our vendors and lovely sponsors. Not only can you peruse the aisles full of vendors, but there are also hourly crafty book signings and demos to check out. This show is free and fun for the whole family! We look forward to seeing you!

Art in the Burbs

Art in the Burbs returns to Tigard High School for 2017! We are excited to once again transform the main gym into an art show with original works from over 85 juried artists for sale.

20% of artist sales will be used to support art education throughout the Tigard-Tualatin school district. Funds are distributed through our Art in the Burbs Grant program at The Foundation for Tigard-Tualatin Schools.

When: Saturday, Oct. 14: 10am – 7pm | Sunday, Oct. 15: 10am – 5pm
A $2 donation at the door is suggested.  New this year – a bucket raffle! For every $2 donation at the door you will receive a raffle ticket. There will be a variety of items available and raffle tickets can be deposited in the bucket for the items of your choice. Winners will be chosen Sunday at 5pm and need not be present to win. Art in the Burbs will contact winners to arrange pick up.

Bend Fall Festival

As fall gracefully eases its way onto the scene and provides a time to harvest and give thanks, it’s the perfect time to enjoy a community gathering. The Bank of the Cascades Bend Fall Festival, presented by The Source Weekly brings a celebration of all things fall to downtown Bend. Fall-themed activities including contests, music, art, and food that will thrill attendees of all ages.

Stroll through the more than 150 fine artists and craftspeople as they fill the street with their handwork, design and artistry. Traveling to Bend from all over the state, region and country, these fine artists bring color and life to the Bank of the Cascades Bend Fall Festival Presented by Hayden Homes and The Source Weekly!
 
It's an ideal place to find that special gift or one-of-a-kind piece that will bring you (or someone you love) happiness for years to come.

Affordable Art For Everyone

Affordable Art for Everyone is a special buying event where more than 80 artists offer high-quality work for under $100–even art that would normally sell for more.

This is the third year for this annual event where the hand-chosen fine art and fine crafts include paintings, ceramics, glass, jewelry, wood, metalwork and photography. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to find very special, high-quality art at outstanding prices.

There’s plenty of free parking. It’s also easy to take the Max! Take the Hillsboro Blue Line and get off at the Fair Complex/Hillsboro Airport station. From there it’s a short walk to the exhibit hall.

St. Johns Constitutional and Art Walk

The second weekend in September is all about the arts in St. Johns and Cathedral Park! On Saturday, come out for the family-friendly St. Johns Art Constitutional. The Art Constitutional joins the St. Johns Farmers Market to activate the St. Johns neighborhood by bringing together art, music, and food. The Art Constitutional offers a distinct combination of artworks, demonstrations, hands-on art making, and performances. Learn more about the fun we had in June and September of last year!

When: Saturday, September 9th | 9am-2pm

Where: US Bank Parking Lot (corner of N. Lombard & N. Philadelphia)
 
Arts/Crafts Vendors: connect and shop with local artists and crafts people including painters, illustrators, jewelry designers, woodworkers, fabric artists, glass artists, and more. Some will be doing live demonstrations!
 
Music/Performances: enjoy music from St. Johns locals and a diverse array of genres. Thank you to Multnomah County Cultural Coalition and the Oregon Cultural Trust for supporting our diverse musical performances this year!

Community Happiness Art Project: We want to know what makes St. Johns & Cathedral Park residents happy. We're asking residents to paint their own canvas flags with a representation of what makes them happy. The canvas flags will be collected and displayed at neighborhood events and during the September Art Walk.
